Students pursuing Grades 4–8 ESL certification must choose
between Option A (focusing on reading, language arts, and social
studies) or Option B (focusing on math, science, and social studies).
Core Curriculum requirements: Students seeking the Bachelor of Arts degree
in Interdisciplinary Studies (Grades 4–8 ESL certification option) must
fulfill University Core Curriculum requirements. The courses listed in the
table below satisfy both degree requirements and Core Curriculum requirements.
